We had a wonderful time staying at the Merlin safari tent for my partner's 30th birthday. The owners, Ann and Peter, were great and even set up balloons and Prosecco as a lovely surprise. The tent was clean and tidy, with everything we needed for a glamping experience. The information provided on the area was extensive, and the games box kept the kids entertained. The absence of a television allowed us to truly enjoy our time together. The views were stunning, and the peaceful mornings on the patio with coffee were a highlight.
Would recommend this hotel.

Ann and Peter were amazing hosts! They went above and beyond to make my partner's birthday special with balloons and Prosecco upon arrival. The tent was clean and well-equipped, with plenty of utensils and even tea bags provided. The location was great, with lots to do nearby, like biking at Pembrey County Park and exploring the castle. The animals on the farm were a lovely sight, and we enjoyed the privacy of the safari tent and the stunning views from the patio.
The shower could have been better, as it only provided cold or lukewarm water. It took quite a lot of wood to heat the hot tub, and it would have been helpful if there was a sufficient supply of wood provided.

The luxury of the safari tent ensures you will be dry and snug whatever the weather. The children's play area in the old farmyard is a hit with swings, slide, playhouse, trampoline, buggies, and tractors. There are plenty of activities for everyone, ranging from the longest toboggan run in Wales to the adventure playground and picnic areas. Our tranquil getaway was made even better knowing that it's eco-friendly, with the farm windmill powering our stay. Kidwelly Glamping is conveniently located within 35 km of the Grand Theatre and 46 km of Oxwich Bay, offering great entertainment options and beautiful beach experiences.
For dads, it would be great to have some outdoor lighting for the hot tub if we wanted to stay in late.

The location of the glamping site is beautiful, with scenic views and a peaceful atmosphere. the staff were welcoming and helpful, and the tent itself was well equipped and clean. There were also plenty of activities to enjoy, such as table tennis, trampolining, and a picnic area.
The hot tub took a long time to heat up and required a lot of logs, which could be inconvenient.

The location of the safari tent was simply stunning. The views from the deck were incredible, especially in the morning when we could sit with a cup of coffee and enjoy the peacefulness. The tent itself was cozy and clean, with a wood burner and electric heaters to keep us warm at night. The hosts were friendly and helpful, providing us with information on local attractions and a games box that the kids absolutely loved.
The lack of privacy between the safari tents was a small inconvenience, as we could see into the neighboring tent when enjoying the views.

I had a wonderful stay at Kidwelly Glamping! The safari tent provided a cozy and comfortable experience. The cleanliness of the tent was outstanding, and I loved the patio area with plenty of outdoor furniture to relax on. The provided heaters and log fire kept the inside warm at night. The hot tub was a delightful addition, and the owners were helpful in showing us how to use it. I appreciated the file in the tent with suggested walks and emergency information, very handy! The farm location offered beautiful views and complete privacy. I enjoyed seeing the roaming chickens and sheep on the land. The added amenities such as table tennis, a trampoline, and a picnic area made the stay even more enjoyable. It was a quiet and peaceful place, and I would definitely return in the future.
A couple of minor suggestions would be to have fire extinguishers and a cover for the hot tub in case of rain. Additionally, outdoor lighting for the hot tub would have been nice for those who wished to stay in it late into the evening.
